Nature soothes my soul. Walking into a forest with birds chirping always puts my mind at ease. It takes the stress away from my body and I watch as it soars and floats away.
Yesterday, my husband and I visited Campbell’s covered bridge in Greer. Did you know that it was constructed in 1909 and it’s the only remaining covered bridge in the State of South Carolina? Yeah… neither did I.
We spent about an hour and a half walking around looking for places to take some good shots. I’m working on my photography skills and figured what better way than to scope out the area to find some beautiful scenery. The sun was shining, the wind was blowing and the weather was perfect. It was a cool and crisp day. And, man do I wish I could feel that way all the time. I wish I was that happy on weekdays and just enjoy my life. I wish I could just find the positive in situations instead of thinking so negatively. I wish I felt that content and happy during the week.
“Good things are coming, just you wait,” I often remind myself. And, they are! I just have to be patient and find the good in situations.
